At the fair with Randy

Randy decided last fall the he was going to raise a steer to show at the fair. Well he raised the biggest steer at the fair this year. "Buster" weighed in at 1525 lbs. Buster was a gentle giant. Randy had worked very hard with him in halter breaking him, teaching him to lead, and giving him his weekly bath and brushing. I was so proud to watch how well randy handled Buster in the ring. He was so excited for his first year of steers. We were excited for him when he won Grand Champion Showman in steer for the Junior Division. That win takes him into the Round Robin.
.
He showed his lamb in the Open class because he was already selling buster at the sale. He took 1st place in showmanship for lamb in the Junior Division, so because he won both Steer and Lamb, Wes got to also join in the round robin. Randy really has a lot of skill and natural ability in working with his animals.
This is Randy receiving the Over All Grand Champion Showman in the Round Robin Junior Division. Way to go Randy!! Dang you are cute, if I may say so!! Love- Mom
